In the month of ‘octubre’, we will review classroom objects, discuss some famous Hispanic Americans for Hispanic Heritage Month and review our Spanish study guides. We will practice our Spanish vowels to help increase our pronunciation of Spanish words. Please continue to check the bottom of the Spanish newsletter for the Spanish study guide so that students and parents can review any vocabulary that we will be using in the classroom. Please try your best to come to class prepared, be ready to participate, do all of your assigned work and show your best Ashley behavior! I look forward to another great month in español!

¿Puedo usar el borrador? = May I use the eraser?

Levántense = Stand up

Siéntense = Sit down

Escucha = Listen

Escribe = Write

¿Hay preguntas? = Are there any questions?

No comprendo = I don’t understand

Repitan por favor = Repeat please

Con permiso = Excuse me

Gracias/de nada = Thank you/you’re welcome
